Hello and thanks to all of you who supported our petition to help save this historic inn. Thanks to the overwhelming support we have received, the future of the Swan now looks much more secure.

 The new owners have submitted a detailed planning application to undo unauthorised, unsympathetic development, rectify decades of neglect, and to restore the Swan to its former glory as not only a great destination inn, but also a local at the heart of the community.

 We want to ensure the planners at South Downs National Park know just how many of us cherish this lovely old inn, want to see it reopen and thrive and not go the way of so many historic British pubs, now lost forever.
