Dear Supporters,

We are immensely grateful to each of you, our 2,234 supporters and 25 promoters, who have joined us in advocating for the welfare of Cyprus's feline population and support for international adoption. Sadly, the situation is becoming dire. Recent reports have confirmed the poisoning of feral cats across the island and an alarming outbreak of feline infectious peritonitis (FIP), which has claimed the lives of approximately 300,000 domestic and stray cats since January, as noted by Cyprus Mail.

This devastating reality underscores the urgent need for the Cyprus government to step up and provide substantial support and protection for these animals. We must intensify our efforts and call on the authorities to take immediate action.

International Adoption Could Save Lives

The potential for international adoption is a beacon of hope for many of these vulnerable cats. However, the costs associated with international transfers are prohibitively expensive. We urge Cyprus government to facilitate and support these life-saving efforts.
