How is this a sensible decision with essentially OUR money !

To lend HALF A MILLION POUNDS to a developer that has seen numerous attempts over decades FAIL 

Services are in the process of being cut and car parking charges implemented or increased in the town driving away more customers - and yet they still find £500,000 to loan 

A feasibility study at circa £35,000 that never saw light of day as that "idea" went to the wall - the countless "man hours " provided by senior and planning staff !

Can anyone else smell the COFFEE ? or is the other smell too strong ?
