Dear supporter,
We are writing with very exciting news! On October 4, the NSW Parliamentary Inquiry into "Current and potential impacts of gold, silver, lead and zinc mining on human health, land, air and water quality in New South Wales" is coming to Mudgee to hear testimony and visit the Bowdens lead mine site. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to impact the future of how mining is approved in NSW and we are keen to hand the politicians a petition with 10,000 signatures.
We are currently at almost 6000 signatures and need another 4000 before the Parliamentary visit. Please help us get across the line by sharing our petition and urging your friends and social networks to sign, support and spread the word.
With your help, we can convince the NSW Parliament of the groundswell of opposition to this mine and the general lack of confidence that our communities have in a broken approval process that would facilitate such a poor planning decision to move ahead.
Our heartfelt gratitude for all of your support!
