URGENT! - Petition Update
Petition Update –
Thank you to everyone who has supported this petition so far.
As many of you know, this proposal for 260 houses has already been refused twice. It was rejected by the local planning authority, and the decision was also upheld at appeal. Following those decisions, Keepmoat and Banks withdrew their previous proposals. The right decisions to refuse the proposal were made then, and they should be refused again. We all know this is not an appropriate place to stick 260 houses. This area needs to be protected and preserved. Can everyone please support our petition and also place your formal objections comments on the stockton borough council planning page.
I’ll leave the link below
We need to make sure this proposal does not go ahead. I’ve mentioned this time and time again, this will not be a development this will be the destruction of this beautiful nature reserve and green space, if this proposal were to go ahead it would be catastrophic for the nature reserve and the rare wildlife that thirives within it. There’s so many reasons why this is not an appropriate place to build 260 houses the fact it sits practically adjacent to the nature reserve, I can’t even believe it’s been reconsidered. The right descions have already been made twice before when refused, let’s all pull together and make sure this does not go ahead. We cannot alow greedy builders to destroy this beautiful green space it should be protected and preserved.
Please can everyone support our petition and also continue to place there objection comments on the Stockton borough council planning page. We only have until the 17th July to place objections on the sbc planning page.
Thank you to everyone for your continued support .
