Help stop keepmoat building 265 houses on Bowesfield park and nature reserve

Hi can everyone please continue to sign the petition and stating objection reasons why the land off cygnet drive/Bowesfield nature reserve should not be built on. It’s really important to residents of Bowesfield park/the local community & established  businesses - commercial car dealerships on Bowesfield park also to the local public that also enjoy visiting the nature reserve that  keepmoat do not get the planning permission upon their appeal . I’ve stated all the main reasons of why this will be catastrophic for the  wildlife that lives within the nature reserve now fighting for there survival, also one of the other main reasons being Bowesfield park is already massively congested on a day to day basis with only single road access in and out of the estate. We also have no local amenities there’s so many reasons why this is not an appropriate place to put houses. This won’t be a development this will be the destruction of the nature reserve and our communities limited open space .Please continue to raise objections and concerns we cannot let them get away with destroying Bowesfield nature reserve that’s shown to be thriving but now fighting for its survival from developers such as keepmoat please continue to share the petition and raise objections we only have a one month window ( 30th April )

September 4th 2024 we received great news that planning would be dismissed and refusesd, keepmoat then had 6 months to appeal the descion which they have now done, we all need to stand together and fight for what’s right and make sure these houses do not go ahead .

 Lets do the right thing here and not allow the nature reserve/cygnet drive to be built on it’s not an appropriate place for 265 houses

Beyond housing have just recently started construction of 26 more social houses on Brooklime avenue directly opposite teeside audi car dealership on Bowesfield park - total chaos for access as we only have single road access in and out of Bowesfield park more in accessible roads increased congestion and safety .

Sign our petition and raise  representation on the planning  appeal below before 30/04/25 to prevent   keepmoats  proposals .

I’m more than certain if these houses on cygnet drive/Bowesfield nature reserve were to go ahead they would be even more accidents on the estate There are daily incidents safety issues for both drivers and pedestrians and clear inaccessible routes for emergency service access .

 The wildlife that lives within the nature reserve would be forced and pushed out of their natural habitat this is just pure greed by keepmoat and Stockton council a total disregard to the public outcry -  this shouldn’t not be allowed to go ahead we all need to stand together and keep objecting to the absurd proposals. We do not want this housing proposal to go ahead it shouldn’t even be getting considered as it’s a completely ridiculous place to build houses.

There is also an Amazon warehouse being built on the queen Elizabeth way that leads from Preston farm into ingleby barwick this is going to bring even more traffic &  congestion as they intend  building  a roundabout in the middle of the queen elizabeth way, anyone who lives in ingleby barwick / Bowesfield park knows how congested the traffic already is at peak times from Preston farm going into ingleby barwick .A further valid point as to why why this housing proposal is not a good idea. I could name so many more problems/issues it would cause the list goes on! 

The approved Amazon work has started - the authorities ripped out trees along the estate and nature reserve boundary without warning ( & prior to the 31st march ) causing damage to the environment nature wildlife (27 + birds nesting along here were rescued the trees which created a home security gone how do they slip through these regulation loopholes with total disregard to what really matters ) and our estate privacy onto a very congested and busy carriageway which now wide open .
