With now two expert Heritage Reports confirming the Kaydon Court Flats meet the requirements for State Government Heritage Protection criteria, Boroondara Councillors will be voting on August 2, 2021 on whether to support the commencement of a Heritage Protection Overlay or not.
It is imperative we are clear in our intention, we want this unique development saved, as not only is there clear evidence from an architectural and social history point of view, we will be saving the homes of 18 families, who have enjoyed affordable rentals in this locale, some for well over 10 years.
