Governor of Alabama getting involved

After GLEAM paper published Shin Point Road communities response to the article in the paper by the commissioner’s office, the Governor’s office reached out to us via a phone call and has had multiple phone conversations since about our road. The wheels of change are in motion as the Governor is taking steps to help our community! She is meeting with AL DOT this week and gathering information from her legal team to share with Marshal county soon as well as reaching out to our state representative on our behalf. We are definitely grateful that her office is taking our concerns seriously.
