Breaking: WVC Chief of Staff Maria Iñiguez Leaving Role Effective Immediately

Wenatchee Valley College President Dr. Faimous Harrison announced today that the college is “moving forward in a new direction” with the Chief of Staff position, effective immediately. Maria Iñiguez will assist with the transition before departing the role. No reason for the leadership change was provided. This announcement comes after weeks of public scrutiny following the release of public-record text messages involving Maria Iñiguez, WVC Board Chair Paula Arno Martinez, and other trustees and college officials.
