University Community Plan Update Subcommittee Zoom Meeting

Tuesday, April 19th, 6:00 – 9:00 p.m.

The Subcommittee will be discussing the proposed plan online in this Zoom meeting tomorrow. 

Your participation is needed!

Please register now at planuniversity.org/meetings to receive an email with your own link to the meeting.

The meeting will be divided into two main agenda items:

1.    South University Proposed Land Use Scenarios

2.    North University Proposed Land Use Scenarios

Comment in the Zoom chat during the meeting! Your chat comments will become a part of public record. You can also raise your hand to speak during the public comment period for each agenda item. 

We advise that you request the following from the Subcommittee:

1.    Remove the proposal to rezone residential streets that currently accommodate single-family housing in South UC.

2.    Hold multiple in-person public meetings to give residents the opportunity to understand the full scope and impact of the proposed plan and to ask questions.

It is critical that we have a lot of participation to show that UC is engaged in this topic. Even if you do not wish to comment during the meeting, it is important to attend to show support for our community. Please log on to the call 10-15 minutes early to ensure you’re admitted on time. 

Note that Nancy Graham has replaced Katie Witherspoon, former City of San Diego Senior Planner, and will be presenting the proposed land use scenarios.
