Dear Friends, 

Here we go again. We need your help once more! 3100 Weston Road is separate (not a part of) the city's heritage agenda this month, which is reviewing and designating properties. The city's heritage laws, which are undergoing significant changes in the next nine months, will impact the designation process for 3100 Weston Road. Therefore, it is crucial that we define it as a heritage as soon as possible. The battle is not over; we need your support now. We need some action!

The PLAN:

1.). Write a registered letter to Mayor Chow. We desperately need her support. Last year, she met some of the supporters of this petition at city hall. She needs to hear from the citizens of Toronto on how vital these sacred grounds are to all of us. Please send her a letter via registered mail, phone, and email. Please keep circulating this petition. You can use the sample template below. 

2.) Call and write to your local councilor. Let the city officials know that our cause is still alive. They had a successful meeting last summer to prioritize 3100 Weston Road as heritage, which was a significant step forward. Ask them what happened and how we can continue this momentum.

3.). Please tell your confreres about this petition and the recent article from Toronto Life magazine.

It isn't over until it's over. We need to do more work. Our initial action last year, which was a collective effort, will only be helpful once we win this through perseverance! We need each and every one of you to join us in this fight.

The heritage application and deputations are complete. However, the process of designating a property as a heritage is complex and requires significant support. We need to have it designated ASAP! Our cause is to name 3100 Weston Road heritage, and we reclaim the land that belongs to God, the city of Toronto, and Canada.

We represent the shrine devotees of 3100 Weston Road, Toronto. As you may know, the Marian Shrine of Gratitude is on the city's heritage listing. The application and deputations for heritage are complete; we need to have them designated as soon as possible! We need your support in our cause of naming 3100 Weston Road heritage. This is not just a piece of land, but a sacred place where thousands have found healing and hope. Its value is immeasurable, and we must preserve it. Please help us honour Its significance. We will be blessed beyond measure to have this available in our city. 

We steadfastly hope you can support our endeavour by encouraging those in office to complete their investigation and officially designate the property as heritage as soon as possible. We are doing our best to preserve the shrine, not only its memory but also its structure.

This property is part of the city's heritage listing. Last summer, a meeting at city hall discussed prioritizing it as heritage. We only have nine months to make changes to Toronto's heritage guidelines. If we don't act now, we risk losing this invaluable piece of our history and culture. Last September, there was a unanimous vote in the city council, and everyone agreed it was the right action.
