Supports of our petition to preserve Santa Fe's parks and open spaces we have been noticed. The city of Santa Fe has blocked off the disputed Candelero Park Land from any further excavation until it has undergone a complete legal review. The District 2 City Councilors Carol Romero-Wirth  and Michael Garcia have been in communication with the Candlelight Neighborhood Association and will continue to keep them updated on the review process as it moves forward. This first step is huge in having the city draw a line and recognized a problem. We need to preserve these valuable public treasures for future generations!
