My friends, I hope this finds you well. I wanted to share with you our latest blog post, highlighting Ahmad Shah, a former translator to the US military in Afghanistan: http://www.nooneleft.org/ahmadshah When Ahmad Shah arrived in the United States a year ago, he still had a bullet lodged in his arm -- an injury sustained in combat that left his arm almost totally useless. Within months, Ahmad Shah found himself at court, having an attorney who had never served in the military, yelling at him. "We don't care about what you did for the military or for the U.S., you live in an apartment, as simple as that, you have to pay your rent," lectured the attorney. When I first met Ahmad Shah he was on the verge of eviction. Thanks to the support of friends like you, today he has a car, a fully furnished home, and no fear of eviction and homelessness. He also recently received an operation that healed his arm, giving him near full mobility for the first time in over a decade. On behalf of Ahmad Shah and the now many hundreds of other translators we help, many many thanks. Together we are making a difference. If you'd like to continue supporting our vital mission, please contribute today. https://nolb.nationbuilder.com/contribute -Cheers, Matt
