I hope this finds you well. When we last spoke you helped me get Ehsan to America. He has lived here safety for years and thanks you all for your help.

We have never needed your help more than we do now. As our war in Afghanistan ends, our common enemy - the Taliban - is posed to make a rapid conquest of Afghanistan. They have already begun a campaign of assassinations and murders of our interpreters, engineers, cooks, aid workers - anyone who has ever worked a day for America faces a death sentence for their service. 

If we do not evacuate all of our Afghan wartime allies with us, then when we leave, we will sign their death warrant. 

Thankfully there is a plan to save these people - it’s called the Guam Option. In 1975 and 1996 we evacuated our Vietnamese and Kurdish wartime allies, respectively, to Guam where they lived in safety while our immigration system processed their permanent applications for asylum in America. We should do the same now for the over 70,000 Afghan wartime allies who face certain Taliban slaughter.
