I hope this finds you well! Our DC Chapter just welcomed home an Afghan translator who escaped Kunduz the day before the Taliban took the city. It's days like these that remind me the absolute importance of our work - together we are saving lives. Between now and Veterans Day (11 November) we are participating in the Day For The Brave challenge. Razoo (the organization sponsoring the day) is giving out prizes for the organization that raises the most in a total hour, day, etc. If we place as the top grossing organization, we will win substantial additional funding (tens of thousands of dollars).
