It has been two weeks since we read the sad news that 7027 Thornbury Castle would be used as a parts donor. Whilst a petition is good for raising awareness, it won't raise funds to help secure the future of the loco. With time ticking on, if we really want to save this loco then action must be taken - now!
A previous owner of the locomotive has stated that he is willing to help start a society to secure the future of the loco, but they need our help. This needs to be a joint effort. If you are willing to help, then please let us know.

You do not have to mention how much or how often you are willing to give (although this information would be useful), all information will be confidential and will not be shared. We are hoping that from this information we can calculate the real interest in helping to save this locomotive. Once interest has been reviewed, we can start an official fundraiser and approach the current owners. This effort is in collaboration with the previous owner mentioned above.
