We are happy to share Conmed Health Group has presented a new policy to respect the rights of residence who take medical cannabis.

Expected to take effect before the new year - the policy allows staff to store medical cannabis like any prescription and assist residence who require help taking their medication.

The new policy respects residence who would like to remain independent allowing them to store and self administer their medicine if they choose.

Residence who don't have the ability to choose a representative or order their own medicine have the right to allow their Pharmacy to order their prescription from a designated licensed producer(s)

Additionally Conmed Health Group has respected the rights of residence to use recreational cannabis on the property if they choose to or have access issues obtaining medicinal cannabis.
