In yet another twist in our ongoing bid to protect our environment and promote responsible and transparent planning, Newry, Mourne and Down Council have decided to concede the grant of leave in our legal challenge. As a result, Northern Ireland's High Court of Justice have now granted us leave, meaning there is no longer a need for a leave hearing on May 1st and we will proceed directly to the High Court hearing, with a provisional date set for June 18th-19th. This is tremendous news!! We will now begin preparing for the High Court hearing with our legal team and for the soon to be announced public meeting. Finally, there appears to be light at the end of the tunnel!☀️
