Coroner Lawrie’s Recommendation has been adopted in full by the Allan government. We had the privilege of joining Minister Williams along with local member, Juliana Addison for the announcement in Ballarat, Victoria this morning. 

This change will improve safety for 240,000+ Victorian households, that are currently not protected by smoke alarm, gas and electricity safety activity requirements, which came into effect in 2021.
