There are so many projects that this one tower could fund (shade sails, free community skatepark, more public housing, etc).

Wouldn’t shades that actually protect you, like veterans and first responders, make a more common sense and fitting memorial than an expensive tower? 

We need to keep the purpose of Unity park to be commUNITY forward.
