I am so grateful for the more than 150,000 of you who have signed my petition. It means the world to me to have your support in my battle for justice and accountability.
Unfortunately, Helen Pitcher, the Chair of the Criminal Cases Review Commission, still won't offer me an apology - even though her organisation's failings cost me an extra decade in prison for a crime I did not commit.
However, your support has made a monumental difference. Today, the Justice Secretary Alex Chalk KC announced a full independent inquiry into my wrongful conviction and why I had to fight for twenty years to get justice.
This inquiry will scrutinise failings by the police, prosecution and CCRC. My hope is this will lead to lasting reforms which prevent other innocent people suffering the same fate as me.
Thank you again for your support.
