Hi everyone,

On behalf of Maria and myself I would like to thank all 12,500 of you for signing this petition. 

I am delighted to say that on 24/10 Maria was granted permanent residency in Australia.

The assistant minister for immigration, Hon Matt Thistlethwaite personally considered Marias case due to the public interest.

Each and every signature made an impact, and we are very grateful for the support.
