Cllr Mark Webster did not attend the meeting held in Harlow Civic Centre in August to discuss Potter Street and other roads in Harlow that are having issues. This meeting was attended by Essex Police, Harlow Councillors and  Essex County Councillors in opposition, as well as local residents and the media.

His written  response to my request to act is that  " with Local Highways Panels due to be disbanded and their capital budgets fully allocated, there is currently no funding mechanism available through that route to progress new highway improvement schemes. " He did not respond at all to all the other problems that currently exist in Potter Street such as both VAS signs not working (for several years), the 30MPH sign has been removed following it being hit by a truck (see photo) and so there is currently no 30mph sign at this point on the road. These have all been raised numerous times on the Essex Highways website by many residents.

He has been invited to the next meeting in September due to be held at the Civic Centre as have Essex County Councillors.
