I am a concerned citizen of San Diego. I am writing to support a resolution(plea bargain) regarding People vs Brian Anthony Mason, case number SCD145049. Brian Mason has been incarcerated 23 years and has changed tremendously as proof by his rehabilitation accomplishments while incarcerated. Please consider those factors as well as these factors; 18 years old, first time offender no criminal record, no intent to kill, not armed with a gun, not the actual killer, but SENTENCED TO DIE IN PRISON WITH LIFE WITHOUT THE POSSIBILITY OF PAROLE. That is unheard of in any other case in America, to better our relationship with law enforcement in our community we ask for change starting now with this case. We pray for resolution to bring Brian home. He is remorseful and a great human being. Our community prayers are also with the victim’s, Henry Mabry, family and it is time all parties start the healing process.
