ADAMS COUNTY PUBLIC SOLAR MEETING.

LEGAL NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Adams County Plan Commission Notice is hereby given that the Adams County Plan Commission will hold a public hearing on May 6, 2021 at 6:00 P.M. in the 4H Expo Hall, Monroe. At said time and place said the Board will hear the following: The Adams County Plan Commission will conduct a public hearing on a proposal to amend the Adams County Zoning and Land Use Ordinance to add provisions for the location and development of solar energy systems. The area to which the proposal applies is the jurisdictional area to which the Adams County Zoning and Land Use Ordinance applies. The proposal would, among other things, add definitions of a personal solar energy system and a solar farm energy system, and provide locational, dimensional, and operational requirements for each. A copy of the proposal is on file in the office of the Adams County Building and Zoning Department, 313 W. Jefferson St., Room 338, Decatur, IN 46733. Both written objections and support for the proposal may be filed in the zoning office prior to the hearing will be considered. Oral comments concerning the proposal will be heard at the public hearing. Such hearing may be continued from time to time at the discretion of the Plan Commission. All written suggestions or objections to said applications may be filed with the Adams County Plan Commission. Interested persons desiring to present their views on said applications, whether in writing or verbally, will be given the opportunity to be heard at the above-listed time and place.
