We received this poem, out of the blue, from John Kinsella. We don’t know John personally, yet he gave us this poem to help save Lemnos Street Bushland. It’s a powerful example of the way nature connects each and every one of us... whether we realise it or not. Meanwhile, co-campaigners, Lyn Jennings and I (Heidi Hardisty), are preparing a detailed submission to go before a special meeting of the Statutory Planning Committee soon. Our arguments to save this threatened Banksia Woodland are compelling. But can they be convinced? All of this beautiful bushland can be saved with a better vision: A leafy and relaxing urban village, integrated with nature. Make Lemnos St Bush a park for all to share! If you are inspired by John's poem, why not pick up the phone and call the Minister for Planning, Hon. Rita Saffioti? Just leave a brief message asking her to step in and create a wonderful new park. Save Lemnos Street Bushland! Minister for Planning: T (08) 6552 5500 Thanks for your support
