No leads, no arrests, investigation ends. How many times do we read or hear these words … hedgehogs tortured, mutilated, kicked, stabbed, torched, killed but no one is charged, prosecuted, convicted.
We must get greater legal protection for hedgehogs. On Thursday my other petition reached 10,000 signatures so now the UK government will issue a written response. What we really need is a parliamentary debate but that requires 100,000 signatures. If everyone who receives this update signs https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/643081
we would reach our goal this week then your MP and mine will have the opportunity to show their support for hedgehogs in a televised debate.
