Nebraska Tourism Commission closer to replacing 'The Good Life' slogan

I've had the pleasure of calling Nebraska home and did so for many years.  I lived in the small town of Falls City and would see this sign constantly since it sat right outside our city limits.  If you've had the pleasure of calling Nebraska "home" then you immediately recognize with this sign.  I personally only know this slogan as our state slogan.  I've never been familiar with any of the others listed in this article linked above. 

Many of us who have made the journey across the state line see this sign as the home stretch.  It's a well deserved slogan that many generations of residents are familiar with and recognize immediately.  It's the slogan I mention if Nebraska ever comes up in conversation (I now live in Florida). 

The Nebraska Tourism Commission may feel the need to modernize.  That's absolutely fine but modernize the sign, not the slogan, as it's loved by many more Nebraskans than they obviously realize!
