Absolutely No member of my professional association, regulatory body, RCMP or provincial government has ever supported me in my 14 years of public service. Working in healthcare is a thankless, horrible job in recent years.
It means a lot to me, and other healthcare professionals, having so many people agree with making our essential services safe again for its professionals and the people utilizing them.
I’ve been asked a lot of questions about the specifics of this petition. You’ve wanted to know names and see documents. I can fully appreciate that this petition, in its present state, begs further explanation. This also highlights how hard it is to ‘whistle blow’ within the Healthcare fields in Canada. Full explanations are impossible to disclose.
I can provide more disclosures about sexual assaults and how they were covered up by the Massage Association and the College of Massage, but for now, I wanted to inform about how this petition is doing.

Only 10% of Canadians care enough to change an extremely abusive profession.
I can’t fault the public too much for their lack of involvement in this matter. Massage Therapists garner zero respect from their peers and the public. After years of horrible therapists ruining the profession’s reputation, all we’re left with is jokes about massage being sex work.
So when someone like me is vocal about refusing to be associated with criminals and abusers, I’m the one labeled as a liar and I’m outcasted as being the problem.
Multiple BC regulatory colleges were found to be acting illegally and/or outside of their mandates. Complaints vanish into thin air.

Healthcare is the MOST abused profession in Canada. We suffer 4-8x MORE workplace violence than any other profession. Healthcare professionals have their human rights withheld from them far more than is publicized. When complaints are brought forward to the Human Rights Tribunal, we are told that they don’t handle complaints from healthcare registrants. Instead, we are humiliated and made to feel worthless because some of us do not identify as TRANS. The Law clearly identifies as “Human” rights. Applying to everyone equally.
My case was brought to the BC Human Rights Tribunal and discarded without investigation.

To clarify, I am NOT anti-trans or any other combination of hateful rhetoric. I despise any prejudicial or exclusionary means used to withhold the rights and freedoms of Canadians.
In Canada, the average citizen only has ‘rights’ if you can pay legal fees to maintain your access to ‘rights’. BC is LAWLESS.
