We are so close to 1500 signatures! 

I also have to be honest here. 

I have concerns that there might protesters against us at the Statehouse. 

This is a reality for any event like this. If they are there, they might try to illicit a response from us. They then will try to record said response and make that go viral. Please remain strong, even record them if they are recording you. It is better to be safe than to have a edited video clip of us out there misrepresenting our cause. (Safe Staffing Ratios, Safe working environments, etc.)

Remember why we are attending the event. We have dealt with terrible working conditions and worse things than people trying to heckle us. (Sad but true.)  Remember to take care of others, we must be able to take care of ourselves first. In an emergency we are taught to keep ensure safety before going to help. We need to do that for healthcare now. 

We have to keep our heads held high everyone.
