Diane 35 is 4 times more dangerous than regular birth control. Fourteen women in Canada have died from this drug including our 18 year old daughter Marit McKenzie, not to mention many more in Europe.  We are not told of all the young women who have survived the drug being left with disabilities from the blood clots, ie brain damage, loss of limbs and others. This number is in around 200 women affected. This is a devastating loss considering the problem was just acne. Not a day goes by where I am not thinking of the next family that is going to suffer this kind of loss, totally blindsided!  The United States does not allow this drug in their country! Bayer will not stop producing this drug, it is our job to protect our women.  The world  has lost an incredible young lady in our daughter who excelled at everything she did. How many more are we going to lose so that drug companies can make more money off of our pain. Yes there is risk in using any birth control, but we were not told that this one was 4 times the risk, and if it does affect you, you have little time to react.  We watched our daughter suffer 4 heart attacks, clawing at us and medical staff to help her breath and the confusion and terror in her eyes will never leave me!
