Over half of UK trusts have already adopted the Perinatal Institute's Growth Assessment Protocol (GAP) programme to better detect growth restricted babies. If all trusts come together and use GAP, it has been estimated that 1000 babies lives could be saved, reducing stillbirth by a quarter.
