Cats like dogs are sweet natured loving animals that we love to have as our pets. As majority of us stay in HDB flats, it is definitely sad to know that cats are not allowed to be homed in our HDB Flats.  I believe that as long as pet owners are responsible to ensure that their cats remain indoors at all times, house are kept clean, there should not be any issues having these loving cats in our homes. 

To couples who has children, I must say that they will not understand how cats filled up the emptiness in childless couples.  And especially for muslims who due to their religion, are not able to keep dogs, cats are the only other living animals that they can shower their love to. 

I hope to gather as much positivity from Singaporean’s to bring this up to the relevant body so as to allow cats as pets in our hdb homes.
