Change of Designation

I recently learned that Michael Lombardo, the President of HBO Programming for whom this petition was originally designated, announced in May that he is stepping down from his post.I have not been able to find a successor to whom to forward the petition on HBO, which appears to be in transition. So, after careful deliberation, and advice from the helpers at change.org, I have decided to make Les Moonves of CBS the designated decision maker for this petition. The situation at CBS appears more stable, these telethons have aired on other channels besides HBO over the years, and I've considered that a more family friendly telethon may attract the support of church organizations that work with the homeless. I thank all those who have supported this petition very much.
