The Issue
HBO currently shows "scope" film (2.35:1 aspect ratio) in the HD ratio of 1.78:1, mutilating the director's original intent. I started this because HBO is moving into the streaming realm and it is a good time to rethink a bad decision on their part. If HBO changes this policy, it will give its customers better value and make their product more desirable.
