ONE YEAR LATER... Be the voice for our children & animals!

Last year, we ran a petition urging Hayward Area Recreation & Park District to ban two non-sanctioned events being held at the annual Rowell Ranch Rodeo (happening in Castro Valley): "WILD COW MILKING" (in which a cow was killed at the 2014 rodeo) and the children's abusive "MUTTON BUSTING." Thanks to all your efforts we were able to make some progress last year in making our voices heard. This year, Rowell Ranch plans to feature these harmful events yet again. And we plan to stop them! We are ramping up our efforts to add more signatures to our petition. Also, a two-person subcommittee of the Hayward Area Rec & Park District (H.A.R.D.) will hold a hearing on WEDNESDAY, MARCH 22 2017 to debate the proposed ban on the above mentioned two cruel (and non-sanctioned) rodeo events.
