Please support this petition for Upminster TapRoom micropub. Havering Councillors rejected this application stating that the premises is in a residential area. The planning dept agreed it and stated that it met all the necessary requirements and is a town centre location. However, Cllrs voted against it and had used their own political website during the consultation period to spread lies and get people to object to it. They then had a door to door negative campaign, with round robin letters, all bearing the same spelling mistakes, to get residents to object. They would not collect supportive letters. DESPITE ALL OF THIS, UPMINSTER RESIDENTS VOTED IN FAVOUR. SIGN THIS PETITION TO GET THIS WRONG DECISION LOOKED AT AGAIN AND OVERTURNED. ALLOW THE UPMINSTER TAPROOM TO OPEN WHILE THIS DECISION IS REVIEWED. WE ONLY NEED 100 SIGNATURES BUT THE MORE THE MERRIER. ITS YOUR TOWN CENTRE, GET WHAT YOU WANT.
