There has been so much going on since we last posted an update that it's hard to know where to begin! Suffice to say, we've been incredibly busy with the campaign... meeting more people, giving more presentations and arranging more for December and January, giving more newspaper and radio interviews and of course, making all the many arrangements for our trip to London this week. We are all so excited about the visit and amazed that the campaign has grown in strength so quickly. We are delighted that the BBC will be covering the story and our day at Parliament and also the delivery of Zack's petition to Number 10 Downing Street. So many photo opportunities coming up this week! Tomorrow we have a busy day packing everything for the trip as well as making the final preparations for our meetings, interviews and filming. It's going to be an exhausting few days, but we are all looking forward to the experience.
What's more, as Zack would say, the campaign is "Getting Bigger!" Not only do more and more supporters keep adding their signatures to our petition, but other #ChangingPlaces campaigns and campaigners are getting more and more publicity on our TV screens and on social media. Hopefully some of you saw the piece on "This Morning" last week with Eamonn Holmes interviewing Anne Wafula Strike about transport and disabled accessibility.

And just today, one of our fellow ChangingPlace campaigners and supporters has begun another excellent petition on change.org campaigning for all our big supermarkets and superstores to install ChangingPlace toilet facilities in their stores. The lack of such facilities all over the country is frankly appalling and embarrassing, with only 9 such Changing Place toilets out of over 2600 stores! Yet in spite of all the 'raising awareness', publicity, promises, trials and consultations, there has been very little progress with installing these facilities in places which all accommodate the toilet needs of able bodied people and babies. As George Orwell might have put it, "All shoppers are equal, but some are more equal than others!" This is blatant discrimination against those adults and children and their families and carers who, after all, all need to shop and eat and all have the same basic human need of accessible and clean toilet facilities.
We have been astounded by the rapid growth of Zack's campaign, so please can we ask all 104,403 of you to add your name to this petition too and support Laura and all of us who are campaigning for the same basic facilities to make everyday life manageable and bearable for all of us who are disabled or who care for someone who is. We would be delighted if Laura's petition could do as well as Zack's, and with over 7000 in first day alone, it's looking as though it will be!

The campaigning continues and together we are working with our fellow CP supporters and their friends and families to bring about these essential changes as soon as possible.
Thanks for your continued support and encouragement.
