What a damn disaster.  Let alone any Brit trying to travel to and from the EU.  We start to see, as I predicted the following (from FT of yesterday): London’s financial sector started to feel the full effects of Brexit on the first trading day of 2021 as nearly €6bn of EU share dealing shifted away from the City to facilities in European capitals.

Happily the unknowing Johnson has saved fishing and it is estimated that by 2026, UK boats will have access to an extra £145m of fishing quota every year. In 2019, British vessels caught 502,000 tonnes of fish, worth around £850m, inside UK waters. Hello Mr Johnson with a Oxford PPE where counting and sums are clearly not incuded...you got less than €1bn and already in ONE day €6bn leaves the city of London.  Oh yes, fishing is 0.03% of UK GDP while financial services are 80% of GDP.  Our brilliant UK negotiators spent all their time on fishing, and as Johnson admits, nothing on services.

The ONLY solution before the UK (or rather UK minus Scotland and Northern Ireland) totally collapses is to re-negotiate a NEW DEAL with the EU.
