The people speak and march and petition.  The politicians think their deal is better than staying in the EU and they prefer to have ZERO say over future events.  They play chicken with Parliament in the hope that a BREXIT miracle can happen...but why does the miracle seem like such a total disaster for the UK?

I have just spent a week teaching in India and only the Visiting Profs, like I, discussed Brexit...India was too concerned with its own elections and its relations with China to bother about the ''Old Country''.

I spoke about CSR and Sustainability which seemed very academic as the UK shoots itself in the foot but India cares about responsibility and what do we have? Chicken playing May and sitting on the fence with nostalgia for the Cold War, Corbyn.

Happly the petition that was started in Feb 2019 with a similar title to the one here, has gone viral with over 4 million sign-ups (including I), while the one here has accelerated in the recent week.  Hopefully I can also force UK Parliament to consider rejecting Article 50 and staying in the EU...I need at least 100,000 votes and we, with your help, are getting there.
