Yes, EU needs reform. Yes, the world has been regressive for far too long in terms of wages and allowing rentiers too much wealth. So how does BREXIT change that?
The discussion on leaving the EU was a disgrace and mainly about racist immigration and Johnson's lies on the NHS. Why did the BBC give equal showtime to both the racists as well as so little on the real issues?
Yes, a few rich land owning Dukes in the UK have benefitted from EU subsidies. But they dont care losing them since they have their land holdings and Rees-Mogg...and yes there are many EU subsidies especially to agriculture and change resisted by the French are problems that have been around for decades...but are small compared with UK losing access to 600 million people in trade to the EU, lack of access of our young to EU institutions, the loss of Ireland and maybe Scotland, the loss of financial services to Frankfurt, Paris, Milan, and Dublin...remember most of UK tax revenue comes from City of London.
Now we have two losers vying to lead a failed State - May and Corbyn dictating the race to nothing and despair...the former will destroy the pound and the latter will distribute what remains of the pound to a bunch of racist workers in the shires
Today, in The Observer/Guardian (see ref below), realism starts to set in as Hammond announces further budget cuts are likely if UK crashes out of EU. Thewarning comes as a document entitled "Operation Yellowhammer" reveals contingency planning for no-deal Brexit.
Depressing as I have warned here for over a year, and now I can say what I hate saying ''I told you so"! Sorry I DONT want to be proven correct about BREXIT, so let's work within the EU for change.
