Remember the red bus of Johnson and Farage? The NHS was going to get GBP350million a week extra once the UK left the EU quickly followed by none of those foreign looking chaps stealing 'our' jobs. The fact that many worked in the NHS and many more did the jobs that so-called educated Brits didnt want to do, didnt worry our sloganeers and their lies. Now BREXIT is crumbling, May is thinking of offering GBP40billion (at 350 per week...3 years of the NHS anybody?). For what? So that the UK can get some minor trade deals yet be forced out of the largest free trading bloc in the world where, by the way, it IS already! In today's Guardian, In a direct warning to MPs, Sir Martin Donnelly, the chief civil servant in Liam Fox’s Department for International Trade until earlier this year, stated that 'leaving the single market in favour of negotiating a long-winded, Canada-style trade deal will “damage UK competitiveness and leave us with less investment, lower living standards and long queues at the border”. ' I see our petitions is gradually taking off with an increase in petitioners of around 40% in the past few days...thank you my friends.
