I simply don:t understand what the UK will gain by being outside of the EU? The above headline is vital but still doesn't show the underlying issue...the crucial importance of the City of London to the UK. Unbelievable that a Conservative Government is going to give it away! Is that what the Conservative Party donors want - the main ones being Michael Farmer, Jeremy Hosking and David Lilley. Why do such rich men wish to ruin the UK? A study by the thinktank the Centre for Cities found that London generated almost as much tax as the next 37 largest cities combined and increased its share of “economy taxes” underpinning the Treasury’s finances to 30%. A large part of that came from Financial Services. Now we can argue that the London Financial Centre is a hotbed of capitalism based on exploiting the workers of the world etc etc. But would you simply give it away under BREXIT? Even the Government is refusing to release any of its own forecasts in 58 studies of the economic impact of leaving the EU.
