With this beautiful weather we see many visitors travelling to the area to enjoy time at the beach. How amazing would it be if, like other seaside towns, we maximised the potential of the area and considered what would bring more visitors to the area to boost the local economy. 

A splash park for young families, zip wires or challenging climbing walls for teens (our forgotten generation for leisure) a grassed area with seating and shelter for small events and family picnics. With opportunities for local businesses to provide refreshments and retail / rental outlets. 

We recently went to Thorpe Park. Their quirky hotel would sit well on somewhere like the Car Wash. Made to look like shipping containers and as easy to build they offered everything needed for a family stay in minimal space. 

Come on Hastings Borough Council.
