Dear Supporters of Ahmadreza Djalali, Currently we have 221,551 supporters of Ahmadreza. Unfortunately, we had some bad news. We have learned from sources close to the Doctor Djalali’s family that the Iranian Authorities still continue to reject Doctor Djalali's lawyer, who knows the case with extreme details, with the probable intent to assign him a Court-appointed attorney. For this reason, Doctor Djalali, who has been detained since April 2016 in the Evin prison, started a thirst strike on Friday, February 24th 2017. Also, it seems that Doctor Djalali has been sent back to confinement and for that he already restarted the hunger strike. We are very worried, because we dread that the dry hunger strike will not allow Doctor Djalali to survive for a long period of time. We renew our call to all Authorities to firmly pursue every diplomatic initiative in order to obtain a rapid and positive solution. Also, we need your support more than ever, as his situation is an emergency.
