Dear Friends,

The aftermath of Hasbro/Wizards of the Coast's decision last week to end the attempt to deauthorize or revoke v1.0a of the OGL is going to require time to unfold.

For now, it appears the immediate damage to the community has receded. What happens next is hard to predict.

I'm going to close this petition. With great thanks to all who signed. Your visible support for this effort did have an impact. It provided sustaining power to the people inside Hasbro fighting to stop the executive team from destroying two decades of community effort. Without you, I sincerely doubt that Wizards would have given up this effort.

I'm going to remain engaged on this topic going forward to keep the pressure on to support the existing commons created by v1.0a. I hope you'll do the same.
