Ever since the beginning of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, Spike the dragon has had a crush on the fabulous pony, Rarity. And since then, they've had a growing relationship, but they still haven't gotten together!

My name is Benjamin F. I've been a hardcore fan of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic for quite a while now, and I have to say that this show is absolutely amazing. I've gone through every episode at least twice, and am currently watching season 4 which is also an amazing season. I enjoy this show because it gives characters you can relate to, offers a variety of comedy and action as well as provides lessons about friendship that even adults can learn from. It may have been intended for a young audience, but with the huge fan base it has, I feel it's for all ages, mostly teenagers to young adults.

With this petition, I want to see two main characters come together, Spike and Rarity. Ever since the first episode aired, Spike has had a crush on Rarity, and their relationship has definitely strengthened to the latest episode. However, they have not gotten into a deeper relationship, a romantic one which seems to be completely logical since they're so close. I feel that since they are so close, in both friendship and age, that they need to get together. If the episode was made where they finally get together in a "more than friends" relationship, I think that it would make the fan base very happy. It would also finally pair the soul mates together.

If the two never get together, then it would be very disappointing to a lot of fans. Including me. I, as well as many others, feel that they have to be together in a relationship. I also feel that Spike the dragon is an underestimated, underused character, so I also feel that if the relationship doesn't happen, the character won't be as prominent and useful as he should be. Even though I absolutely love this show, it would be devastating to me to see it end without the soul mates getting together.

To conclude, let's make this happen. If we can get the makers of the show to get them together, I feel the series will make a big leap in popularity, as well as regain people's interest in the show completely. To all the fellow fans out there, let's make Sparity a real thing!
