Update #3

 From the Virginia Department of Corrections Facebook page: "On 10/20, a visitor attempted to smuggle what is suspected to be Suboxone into Augusta CC using two insertion pellets. The pellets were detected by the body scanner and the drug K-9. The visitor turned the items (173 strips) over to staff. This matter is under investigation." 

Further proof that the body scanners and K-9 units are working in preventing contraband from being introduced into facilities! No need for a tampon ban!
