Many major restaurants like Subway, Burger King, and Shake Shack, have adopted strong chicken welfare policies. Until CKE makes the same commitments, I will not be eating at your restaurants!" 2) Post on Hardee’s Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Hardees/ Option #1: Some of the largest companies in the restaurant industry, including Burger King, Shake Shack, and Subway have committed to sweeping welfare reforms for the chickens they purchase. I am boycotting Hardee’s until it commits to the same chicken welfare standards. Animal cruelty is unacceptable!” Option #2: It’s extremely disappointing to learn that Hardee’s allows its suppliers to cram thousands of birds in dark, filthy, windowless sheds and selectively breed them to grow unnaturally large within weeks of hatching!
