Ryuho Okawa, the leader of a Japanese cult group "Happy Science" has published over 500 spiritual interview books whose targets range from Jesus Christ, Princess Di, and Donald Trump.

Recently, he claims to have had a contact with the spirit of Freddie Mercury.  The result of this interview is expected to be published in a book titled "Spiritual interview of Freddie Mercury/Zoroaster".

Please help us stop the publication of this book because it is defamatory, offensive, and unethical.  This so-called spiritual interview with Freddie Mercury was conducted without the permission from his family.  At the seance, nobody who knew Freddie was invited to verify the authenticity of the spirit.  Moreover, proceeds from the sales of this book will go solely to the cult group. 

It does not take careful fact-checking to prove that Okawa's past spiritual interviews have been fraudulent.  He is also known to use spiritual messages to propagate his fundamentalist beliefs which is grossly biased, for example, against rock music and LGBT.

In Japan, we cannot charge Happy Science with defamation.  Please sign the petition to let Happy Science know that publishing this book is offensive, distasteful, and disrespectful to Freddie Mercury, his family, and his fans.  We request Happy Science look for ethical and peaceful means to propagate their teachings.
